A Chartered Accountant by training, Mr Yim completed his professional training with Coopers & Lybrand, then moved out into the private sector gaining varied experience in different sectors with major corporate groups, including Inchcape, Hap Seng, NBT.UMW, Anson Perdana and also Yayasan Sabah Group of companies. He joined Radiant Consulting Asia Sdn Bhd as an advisor in 2014, after having completed his stint in the successful revival of Anson Perdana Penang project, now known as Queensbay Mall.

From the years 1981 through 2010, Nakkeeran was a banker with exposure to Trustee matters. Upon retirement he ventured into property management with developers and is well established with local authorities and administrators. For his continued services throughout the years Nakkeeran has also been honored by the King of the country.
